EXAMEN DE SEPTIEMBRE

Os informo a aquellos que os vayáis a presentar en septiembre, que es el día 1 y el 2. Entrará hasta la unidad 14 y las páginas del diálogo del restaurante de la 15,páginas 104 y 105, la 12 no entra. El examen oral ya sabéis que consiste en dos partes: una parte individual (monólogo) y otra en pareja (diálogo interactivo). Las estructuras y el vocabulario que tienes que utilizar son las que hemos visto durante el curso (presente, presente continuo, pasado simple, descripciones, there is/are, some/any, estructuras de futuro para planes, vocabulario de la familia, descripciones físicas y psicológicas, ropa, familia, muebles y objetos, etc.)

El escrito es el 1 de septiembre:
Comprensión escrita: 18:45-19:30
Comprensión oral: 19:30-20:15
Expresión escrita: 20:15-21:15.

y el oral el 2:
Expresión e interacción oral: 16:00-18:30
Arriba está el horario del examen oral para que me digáis cuándo os pongo en el oral, os emparejaré yo con otro compañero/a.

Comprobad que la información de los horarios es correcta, está en el blog de la escuela.

ENCUESTA DE ASISTENCIA

Hola de nuevo,

Aquellos que habeis faltado con frecuencia o habeis dejado de venir a las clases totalmente o los que venís a clase y para saber vuestros planes, me gustaría que rellenárais esta encuesta. Queremos intentar que la tasa de abandono baje y poner medidas para mejorar el servicio de la Escuela.Por ejemplo, abrir grupos en otros horarios, grupos más homogéneos, etc. Os tomará 1 minuto de vuestro tiempo. Le dáis a "Archivo", "descargar como Word", "Abrir como word" y "Aceptar" y la rellenáis y la grabáis.

INFORMACIÓN SOBRE MATRÍCULA

Hola a todos,
Aunque nos veremos el martes 22 en horario normal de clase para revisar los exámenes os anuncio que mañana lunes 21 y el martes 22 en horario de tarde os podéis pasar por conserjería para recoger la documentación para la matrícula, abono de tasas y abono de fotocopias (este último se puede pagar ahora o en octubre).
El lunes 28 y 29 en horario de 9:00 a 13:00 se podrá realizar la matriculación para los alumnos oficiales. Los horarios para el año que viene son siempre provisionales, así que habrá que esperar a septiembre.
IMPORTANTE: si alguien tiene alguna limitación con el horario y suspende en junio y va para septiembre, si no quiere presentarse en septiembre y quiere repetir directamente, tendrá que presentar por escrito su renuncia al derecho de examen de septiembre para poder matricularse ahora en junio y poder elegir horario antes de que se terminen las plazas libres en el horario deseado. En septiembre estará más limitado.
Eso es todo.

ORAL EXAMS TOMORROW TUESDAY 15TH

Tomorrow we will have the first session of oral exams in class time, from 16:00 to 18:15 (1º B) and from 18:45 to 21:00 (1ºC)

The second session wil be on Thursday at the same times.

There will be a first part (monologue) and a second part (interaction).

REMINDER! ¡RECORDATORIO!

Os recuerdo que el examen final será el próximo MIÉRCOLES 9 de junio en vuestro horario de clase, es decir, de 16:00 a 18:30 y de 18:45 a 21:15. Ese día será la parte escrita (lectura, escucha y escritura) y la semana siguiente la parte oral, martes 15 o jueves 17, también en horario de clase. Ya hay gente apuntada en los turnos pero quedan huecos para aquellos que os vayáis a presentar. POr favor, enviádme un email a mi cuenta de correo

HORARIOS ORALES JUNIO

Times for the oral exam. 1ºB and 1º C

Week 1st and 3rd June

In class: we did some reading activities and listening and writting activities in order to be more prepared for the written exam.

Next day, Tuesday 8th we'll practice for the oral!!
There are still free places for the oral exam.

Week Tuesday 25th and 27th

In class: we started unit 14. It´s about TV and the expression of future: want to, hope to, would like to and be going to.
We saw vocabulary about TV and we talked about Big Brother(pages 94-96)
For Homework: translate two pages with sentences with different structures.

IMPORTANT: FINAL EXAM IN JUNE

The written exam(reading, listening and writing) will be on WEDNESDAY 9th June in class time (16:00-18:30 or 18:45-21:15)The content will be from unit 1 up to unit 14 except unit 12. From unit 15, pages 104 and 105.
The oral exam will be the following week, Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th in class time.The format will be the same: a monologue individually and a dialogue in pairs.

Thursday 20th May

In class: we start unit 13 "can" and we'll do two oral activities about this verb. Also, we'll do a reading and listening activity from page 86 from the Student's book.
Homework: pages 92 and 93 from the Student's book.

Tuesday 18th May

In class: It was James’s last session! :( We practiced present continuous and the situation in a restaurant.
After James’s visit, we did an activity (photocopy) to revise all the structures we have seen along the year up to present time.
Homework:
Finish the photocopy for the next day.

Thursday 13th May

In class: we continued on descriptions and we introduced the present continuous. We did activities about the difference between p. continuous and present simple.
For homework: Review C except exercises 4 and 5.

Tuesday 11th May

We finished unit 10 about food (listening in a sandwich shop) and we added pages 104 and 105 (unit 15) about restaurant.
We also started topic 11 about descriptions (hair length, hair colour and style, opinion, etc)
For homework: See dialogue on page 76 and vocabulary on page 77

EXAM FOR THE SECOND TRIMESTER NEXT THURSDAY 18TH MARCH!!!

There will be 2 reading texts with questions, 2 listenings with questions and 2 writings. This is the WRITTEN part because the ORAL part will be held the following week on Tuesday 23rd and Thursday 25th.

Thursday 24th- 11th March

During these days we have done a short quiz to revise units 1-6 and also we studied past simple tense, regular and irregular verbs. Units 7 deals with this tense and with time linkers, particles such as "last" and "ago" and the weather.
For homework: Do the activities from the workbook.

Tuesday 22th February

In class: James came to class and we play Jeopardy, a popular American show, we had a great time and we revised vocabulary.

For homework:Study for the quiz (short exam)on Thursday (it will include unit 4, 5 and 6)

Thursday 11th February - Thursday 18th February

In class: during these three days we have finished with unit 5 and 6. We worked on present simple, days of the week, months and season of the year, verb phrases and frequency adverbs.

For homework:
I ask you to write a short paragraph about your perfect weekend.

Tuesday 9th February

In class: James came to class and we learned a lot about Chinese New year and its superstitions and habits.
We continued with unit 5 and we read Ms Dynamite`s perfect weekend.

For Homework: Write a short paragraph about your perfect weekend using present tense, the days of the week and the time.

Tuesday 26th January -Thursday 4th February

In class: During these two weeks we finished unit 4 and we worked on a dialogue in a clothes shop and we went to the Multimedia room to work on internet and some activities of vocabulary.
We also started unit 5 about routines, daily actions and the time.We did some questionnaires about what time you did certain activities.We also work on pronunciation of three vowels 3: i: o:
In addition to this, we watched a video which stressed the importance of good pronunciation and we listened to a song by Black eyed peas "I got a feeling".
For homework: do activities from the workbook (Unit 5)

In class: we corrected Review A and we studied object pronouns (him,her, it, etc.)
For homework: do exercises from the Workbook, Unit 4, pages 16 and 17.

In class: we are still working on unit 4 and verbs such as: live, love, etc + -ing. We did an oral activity about that type of verbs.

Thursday January 8th

In class: we talked about New Year´s resolutions and we did an oral activity to practice present tense and questions with "do", "be" and "have got". In 1º B we also worked a little bit with consonants sounds.

For homework: write a small paragraph on a piece of paper about your Christmas holidays using present tense.For example: I decorate my house, I eat many special things, I also go to parties with my friends, etc...
